  • Worship Ministry

    THE SESSION

The Session in a Presbyterian Church is responsible for the overall leadership of a congregation. The Session at St. Andrews is composed of nine persons elected from the congregation and the Pastor as Moderator. After a period of training and examination, they are ordained as elders, and serve with the pastor(s) in directing the work and worship of the church. At St. Andrews the committees and activities of the congregation are divided into nine Ministries. Each Ministry is facilitated by a member of the Session.
